About The Story
Combining learning and fun, HudHud the Bird goes on an adventurous journey of discovering the many differences between the other birds and himself. Young readers will begin to understand the complex concepts of identity, including ethnicity, culture, skin color, physical and cognitive disabilities, socioeconomic status, and more in an entertaining and easy-to-comprehend way. HudHud gives children the gift of enjoying similarities and embracing differences from his unique journey. The story is excellent for children ages three to eight years old.

About The Author and Illustrators
This exceptional storybook was created through the collaboration of a mom, Khoulod Aladani and her three years old son, Ziad Kamal who is believed to be the youngest co-illustrator not only in Saudi Arabia but in the world. The illustrations were developed out of the hand and footprints of the author`s son.
The author who has a Master`s Degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Ursuline College, OH, USA strongly believes in the importance of planting the seeds of love of and acceptance of others and reinforcing authenticity in children from a young age. The author used creative visuals and a fun rhyming story to engage children in a joyful experience to remember.
The author`s experience in working with children in the counseling field enriched her conceptualisation of the story and its visual elements.
